About Renata

Dog Walking With a Personal Touch

"Hi, I'm Renata, founder of Patrol Paws."

Growing up between Uzbekistan, Cyprus and Ukraine, I was always the child who wanted to stop and help every animal I came across. Whether it was feeding stray dogs, caring for injured animals or trying to convince my family to take another one home, I was happiest whenever I was around animals.

That passion has stayed with me throughout my life. Friends and family naturally trusted me to care for their pets, and working professionally with dogs confirmed what I'd always known—there's nothing I'd rather do than spend my days caring for animals.

Then along came Bea.

Bea is my best friend, my adventure companion and the inspiration behind Patrol Paws. Raising her has taught me so much about patience, trust and the importance of giving dogs the chance to explore, learn and simply enjoy being dogs. Seeing how much happiness every walk brings her inspired me to create Patrol Paws, so I could help other dogs experience that same joy.

Today, that's exactly what Patrol Paws is all about. Every dog is treated with the same care, patience and respect that I give Bea every single day. My goal is simple: to make every dog feel safe, happy and excited for their next adventure.

Half-day adventures for dogs who deserve more than a walk around the block. I collect from your door, drive to somewhere genuinely special — beach, forest trail, or secure field — and bring your dog home happy, tired, and enriched.

I arrive at your home and collect your dog. The excitement starts here.

Comfortable travel in secure, well-ventilated transport with fresh water available throughout.

We arrive — beach, woodland, or field. A supervised adventure with a small, compatible group begins.

11:15 AM

Play, sniff walks, enrichment games. Mentally stimulating as well as physically rewarding.

12:30 PM

Photos and updates sent your way. Your dog winds down with rest and quiet companionship.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! For all walks, puppy visits, and Adventure Club, I collect and drop off your dog from your home address. There's no need for you to travel anywhere.

Absolutely. Patrol Paws holds full public liability insurance for all pet care services. You and your dog are fully protected.

Yes. I hold an enhanced DBS check, so you can feel completely confident welcoming me into your home.

Always. A free meet & greet is required before any bookings begin. It's a chance for you, your dog, and I to get to know each other and make sure we're the right fit — no obligation, no pressure.

No problem at all. I always assess recall before allowing any off-lead activity and never push a dog beyond their safe limit. Dogs with poor recall walk on a long line until confidence and safety are established at their pace.

Yes. I have experience with reactive dogs and use positive, force-free techniques to help build confidence over time. I'll always be honest with you about what's realistic for your dog at each stage.

We walk in all weathers — most dogs love it! I carry appropriate gear and adjust routes to conditions. In the case of extreme or dangerous weather (lightning, severe storms), I'll contact you directly to discuss your options.

Small groups only. I never take out overcrowded packs. Every group walk dog has been assessed for compatibility beforehand, and I maintain a low dog-to-walker ratio at all times.

Puppies start with dedicated puppy visits and, once vaccinated and old enough, can graduate to walks. Adventure Club is available to dogs that are physically and behaviourally ready — we assess this together at the meet & greet.

I ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations where possible. For Adventure Club, 48 hours is preferred due to planning and transport logistics. Life happens — I'm always happy to work with you.
